just magnolia

well i havent made a tilda card for ages, so thought i would take a peek at the just magnolia challenge. I rotated the sketch. the papers are DCVW and i coloured her in with promarkers . sorry about the naff pics today, have fiddled with camera and done soemthing to it! lol. will have to wait until the man of the house comes home to sort it out (**update** think i have fixed the camera all by myself, have changed pic)

Ok, ok , i know its not neon green but its the closest i had! made this card for Rob, my step father in laws birthday! well he would be that if i was married, but after 5 years i figure hes as good as my FIL! lol. think the image is from inkadinkadoo, the sentiment is the one that comes with it, but i typed it up instead!

Will here are the 3 pieces i thought i would use to show my style. not really sure what my style is to be honest, although i definatly think im a cutesy type of card maker, which is odd as im so not a girly girl at! lol. i definatly love stamping, tho! by far my fave technique as you may of guessed from my blog!

Spoonful of sugar

The challenge on spoonful of sugar is to distress your card. so i embossed the green core card and then went over it with a nail file, not sure if you can really see in the photo. the image is a fiary doodles image coloured with copics and water colour pencils. the paper is DCVW, and a few gems and some ribbon from my stash. and pink staples which was my bargain from tesco the other day, a mini stapler and loads of coloured staples for £1.50!
